TEAM REGISTRATION

RULES AND REGULATIONS

General:   

Registration fees: $500

Gamedays: Saturdays

Game Start-time: Games will start 1:pm and 6:00pm. All games must be completed before 7pm unless otherwise necessary. 

Roster – 

  • Every team must hand in a gameday roster with players full names and jersey numbers prior to kickoff. 
  • Gameday roster must not exceed more than the 23 players list. 
  • Each team must have a registered roster of no more than 35 players for the entirety of the 2022 league season.
  • Every player must have a license before the 3rd day of play

Transfer – 

  • Players cannot transfer to a new team after playing first game. 
  • New players cannot be added prior to Semi Finals.
  • Playing any unapproved transferred or roster player will result in fines, suspensions, and or points deduction.
  • Each team is required to use only 5 foreigners during a game. Any default will result to lost of 3 points as per that game.

Cards – 

    •  Yellow card in a game – $10.00
    • 2 yellow cards in a game – $10.00 dollars and 1 game suspension. 
    • Straight Red card in a game – $20.00 and 1 games suspension. 
    • 5 yellow cards in the season – $10.00 and 1 game suspension. 
    • All cards, except a straight red will be dismiss going into the playoff round. 
    • A player will only miss one game for a straight red during the playoff rounds. 
    • There will be no accumulation of yellow cards during the playoff rounds. 
  • All cards and or suspension will be dismissed after the completion of the league season. 

Appeals: 

  • Each team have 48 hours to appeal after date of incident occurrences. 
  • League organizers have the sole responsibility of approving or denying any appeals. 
  • League organizers will evaluate every appeals appropriately. 

 

Fights –

  •  Any fights by players and or teams will be dealt with seriously will result to fine. Decided by the Homologation committee (Board)
  •  Team’s fights will lead to points deduction, suspension, and or elimination. 
  • Player’s fights will lead to suspension and or expulsion for the entirety of the league season.
  • Further legal actions might be taken if deem necessary. 
  • Please respect the referees, opponents, league organizers, and your teammates. No excuses. We expect full compliance and cooperation from every participating teams and individuals. 
  • Any team that walks out of the field because of what ever reason will automatically loose the game in 3 points and 3 goals.

 Rescheduling – 

  • Rescheduled games due to weather situation or unforeseen circumstances will be scheduled for Saturdays or any other day which will be worked out by the teams not committee.
  • League organizers must approve all reschedule games 3 days prior to reschedule date. 

Tiebreakers The following tiebreakers will decide standing position:

–       Points
–       Goal’s differential
–       Goals against
–       Goals scored
–       Head-to-Head

  • When there are 3 or more teams with the same number of points, the goal differential, goals against, or goals scored will decide standing position.

Playoffs – 

  • The top 4 teams will make the playoff round based on standing position at the end of the regular season.
  • Both semi finals will be played same day.

Play-off Penalty Kick’s – 

  • If there is no winner after the official game time (120 Mins ) the game will go straight to shoot-outs.  
  • A coin toss will decide team-kicking order. The players from each team remaining on the field at the end of the game will be the only players to kick for their team. 
  • The first round of shootouts will consist of each player kicking once (round of 5 players shooting per team). 
  • The team with the most goals after the first round will be considered the winner. 
  • If the score remains tied after the first round of penalty kicks, the other players will alternate in a sudden death penalty kick format until one-team scores unanswered. 
  • If team has received a red card remaining field players must kick twice after all other players have kicked at least once. 
  • Goalkeepers must stay on the goal line until the ball have been touch by the kicking player. 
  • Kicking player must not come to a complete stop while taking a penalty. 
  • The field Referee have the final call on the fairness of the penalty. 

Forfeits

  •  Teams are given 15 minutes from scheduled game time for a delay of start. 
  • The official kickoff clock will start running after that 15 minutes is reach. 
  • After 15 minutes from delayed start time, the referee can issue a forfeit. 
  • Each team need a total of 7 field players including goalkeeper to start a game.
  • Forfeiting teams will lose all 3 points given for that game and accumulate (-3) goals against. 
  • Rewarding teams due to any forfeit will receive all 3 points given for that game and gain (+3) goals favor. 
  • Only the two teams involved will benefit or be punished for forfeits. 
  • No individual player can benefit or be punished for forfeited games.
  •  The league Director/Directors must approve all forfeits before the game is considered an official forfeit. 

 

Any team forfeiting 3 games during regular play may be removed from the league. 

  • Any team forfeiting a game during the playoffs will be eliminated from the next round. 

Dropping out

  • Any team dropping out before the completion of the season will be excluded from participation in future.

Bribery/Fraud –  

  • Teams must not receive or accept any financial rewards from another team or individual for the sole purpose of forfeiting or intentionally losing the game.
  • Teams must not intentionally fix a fixture for the sole purpose of benefiting or antagonizing another participating team. 
  • There is no bribery or fraudulent activity of any kind tolerated in this league. 
  • We expect all teams to compete fairly and appropriately. 
  • The League will take appropriate action with the possibility of expulsion if any act or incident of such is caught or displayed. 

General

  • All players must wear shin guards or will not be allowed onto the pitch. All players must wear jerseys/shirts during play. If both teams are wearing the same color, the home team must change. Teams will register their HOME, AWAY, and ALTERNATIVE kit colors. Players wearing protective casts must receive approval from the referee/4th official. If the referee on the field deems a player’s protective cast is unsafe in any way, the player will not be allowed to play until the League director/directors allows the player to play. No jewelry will visibly be allowed, including earrings of any type, necklaces, and bracelets. The only exception will be players wearing medical bracelets or nose studs. 
  • Players wearing soccer cleats with sharp or thick metal studs must receive approval from the referee/4th official. Players will have to change their cleats before entering the field if referee/4th official deem it dangerous or unsafe. 
  • Game Balls / Sizes: Size 5 balls is the recommended size for all games. The League officials will provide 2-3 game balls for every game. Each team must also provide 2 game ball for every game. Good balls
  • League Rules:
  1. Duration of the game – 90 minutes running clock. 45 minutes each half with a 10-minute half time break. This will be decided upon starting the game
  2.  Unlimited substitutions are made with referee/4th official attention at game stoppage.   
  3. Kick off – May be taken in any direction. A coin toss will decide who start with the ball and which side of the field each team starts on.
  4. Balls fully/completely crossing the goal-line on the ground or in the air as per referee jurisdiction will be counted as a goal.     
  5. Goal kicks – May be taken from any point of the 6 yards goal box.
  6. Corner Kicks – Balls should be touching the corner kicks line to be taken fully.
  7.  Goal – May be scored from any half of the field, including during kickoff.
  8. Restart – After a goal is scored or half-time break will be from the halfway mark of the field.
  9. Free Kicks– Defending players may set up a wall 10 yards from the point of infraction. All dead-ball kicks are indirect except for corner kicks, hand balls, free kicks, and penalty kicks. Indirect kicks must only change position before the ball will be considered in play. If a free kick is awarded within 18 yards of the opposing goal line, it will be taken as an indirect kick. It is the referee’s discretion where the ball will be placed.             
  10. Penalty kicks – Shall be awarded if, in the referee’s opinion, a scoring opportunity was nullified by an infraction (the infraction does not automatically result in a red card). Penalty kicks are DIRECT kicks taken from 12 yards from the goal-line in the center of the goal.                                                              
  11. Goalkeepers – Goalkeepers are restricted to using their hands only inside the 18 yards goal box. Goalkeepers cannot use their hands when the ball is intentionally passed back to them by their own team member.             
  12. Hand Ball Clarification – Deliberate handling of the ball that denies a team of an obvious goal-scoring opportunity will result in the following: (1) A penalty kick (2) A yellow or red card given to the player committing the hand ball (at the discretion of the referee).                                                
  13. Referees– Referees are to report to games fully dressed and ready at least 15 minutes prior. There will be no abuse of any kind, verbal, or otherwise. Any indication of such behavior by a coach, staff, or player will result in immediate removal from the League site. If there are such incidents, further information will be gathered, and that coach, staff, player, or team will be suspended, points forfeited, or expel accordingly. No verbal abuse of any player, coach or referee will be tolerated. Please keep all comments positive.
  14. Teams must be ready to enter the field at least 5 minutes prior to their scheduled kickoff. Check-ins will take place 10-20 minutes prior to kickoff.  
  15. Yellow and Reds– There is no limit on the number of yellow cards a player can get in the duration of the League. 2 yellow cards in the same game will equate to a red card. Which will allow the player to sit out for the remainder of the game and miss 1 game thereafter. A straight Red card in a game will allows the player to sit out the remainder of the game and miss games thereafter.                   
  16. Delay of Game – The referee has the official time on the field and holds the right to take necessary action if he/she feels that a team is delaying the game. Any player may be cautioned with a yellow card if it is deemed by the referee that the player is intentionally delaying the game. Such as if a player intentionally holds onto the ball or kick the ball away after a whistle. The referee has the official time on the field.  
  17. FIRST WHISTLE STARTS THE CLOCK ON ALL FIELDS and GAME ENDING WHISTLE END GAMES ON ALL FIELDS.
